CHANGES IN ADMISSION

Do's and don’ts for students this year :

To make the process of CET more dynamic and transparent the KEA has brought in a number of additions to the process.

Posting the OMR Answer sheets of candidates in the KEA website to verify the answers, the posting of the reserved categories rankings and details about the income are some of the latest add-ons to the CET Process.Elaborating on the CET seat selection process, Syed Jamal, Administrative Officer, KEA-CET said, “Even as students enter the KEA premises, to attend the Seat Selection Counseling process, students should take adequate care in getting the right documents”.
Some of the important points are:
* Students must have original documents during counseling, original SSLC marks card, II PUC marks card.
* In case of non-availability of the II PUC marks card, students can download marks card from the website, counter signed by the Block Education Officer.
* Non-Karnataka students should possess certificate citing seven years of education here in the state.
*The Demand Draft (DD) should be addressed to the Executive Director, KEA and should be signed for maximum amount of fees. KEA will deduct the exact fee amount during the admission round and return the balance through Cheque addressed in the student’s name.
* Students belonging to SC/ST category need not bring DD during the admission round.
* Students appearing for medical counseling round may also appear for the engineering seat selection round.
* All candidates are advised to attend all the rounds in the CET counseling process including the casual vacancy round which is the crucial round.
