CET(KEA) 2008:-Casual Vaccancy Round(Eligibility)

The Casual Vacancy Round of CET(KEA) is goin to be a smooth ride as almost all of the students have selected their choice of colleges to get on with their professional field which they have wanted.The image above shows a parent selecting seat for his son any his choice of field and colleges where he can study....

The CET(KEA) will conduct the casual vacancy round seat selection process or all eligible candidates seeking admission to medical, dental, Indian system of medicine & homoeopathy, engineering, technology and architecture courses.

Eligibility :-

The casual vacancy round will be open to medical rank holders who have already selected / not selected medical, dental and ISM seats and also those who have reported / not reported to the allotted colleges besides those who have not selected any seats so far. However, candidates who select the seats in the CV round will not be eligible to participate in the seat selection process for engineering and technology seats.

All engineering rank holders will be allowed to participate in the casual vacancy round for engineering and technology seats. But once they select a seat here, they will not be allowed for the architecture seat selection process.

Candidates who have not selected any seat will have to invariably produce original documents and the prescribed fee in the form of demand draft, when they come. Fee paid by candidates in the admission round will be adjusted towards the seat selected during the casual round.



Note:-

The seat selection process will be subject to the result of the writ appeals pending before the Division Bench of the Karnataka High Court, a release from the CET cell said.
